Meet Dr. Katie Petrillo
DVMDr. Katie Petrillo grew up in Southern California and received her B.S. in Biology from the University of California, Riverside. She then went on to graduate from the UC Davis School of Veterinary Medicine in 2021. She started her career in Northern California but made the move to Colorado in 2023 to be closer to friends.
She loves all of her patients, but especially loves seeing any and every cat, and senior dogs. Senior/geriatric dogs have a special place in her heart since rescuing her late Basset Hound, Bella, as a senior. She knows that owning a senior animal comes with a lot of ups and downs and wants to be there for her clients as they navigate this stage of their pet’s life.
She is a fear-free certified professional, meaning she will always advocate for the comfort of your pet and aim to make their time here as stress free as possible. She also has special interests in pain management and is working towards getting extra training and certification in acupuncture for dogs and cats.
Outside of work, she lives with her two cats, Buttons and Taco. She enjoys reading, crafting/crochet, spending time in nature, going to concerts, and taking care of her house plants. She looks forward to getting to know you and your pets.
