Becky
Practice ManagerSince 2021, Becky has been an energetic force at 5280 Veterinary Care, bringing over twenty years of experience from the culinary industry to follow her passion for veterinary excellence. Her commitment to delivering outstanding care to pets and their owners was clear from the outset. Becky is a master of client support, education, and gold-standard patient care, ensuring every visit is both informative and comforting.
Outside of work, Becky dedicates herself to her family, raising her son and doting on their pampered cat, Lucky. With roots in Colorado and Montana, she enjoys indulging in nature, art, and poetry. She finds great comfort in embracing a more mindful approach to daily routines and savoring the simple moments with her family.
Becky champions collaboration and open communication, and she believes that infusing a generous dose of fun is essential for a thriving work environment. Her unwavering dedication to the hospital, her team, clients, and patients highlights her commitment to serving the community with joy and enthusiasm.
Crystal
Client Care ReceptionistCrystal became interested in the Veterinary field after she got her very first kitty in 2017. It was soon after that she realized her deep love of animals and decided she would like to enter the industry. An opportunity showed up and she joined the 5280 Veterinary Care team in April of 2023. Crystal was born in Florida but moved to CO in 2008 and has been here since. She has two kitties, Tami and Enoki, and she enjoys playing video games, watching anime, and cosplaying in her free time. She also has a love for travel and exploring new cultures and places in the world. She has recently been to Japan, and she plans to visit Europe and Korea!
Teagan
Client Care ReceptionistTeagan is a veterinary professional whose journey began in 2020 with a veterinary assisting certification. Her passion for this field is rooted in a childhood filled with pets that sparked a deep connection to animals. A pivotal moment came at 14 when she job shadowed at Indian Tree Animal Hospital, solidifying her desire to pursue veterinary medicine. As a Colorado native, she enjoys hiking, coaching dance, and spending time with her pets. She shares her home with Luna, a rescue dog; two hedgehogs, Skipper and Rico; and a bearded dragon named Hydra. These experiences fuel her dedication to helping animals and their owners.
Vanessa
Client Care Receptionist/AssistantBorn and raised in Nebraska, Vanessa went on to graduate from Texas A&M University at Galveston with B.S. degrees in Marine Biology and Marine Fisheries. After college, she spent four years working on fishing boats in Alaska, gaining hands-on experience with marine ecosystems and wildlife. In 2016, Vanessa moved to Denver, where she started a pet-sitting business and began working in veterinary medicine. A lifelong animal lover—and admittedly obsessed with cats—she is now working toward her goal of attending veterinary school, hoping to combine her biology background with clinical training to support conservation efforts and improve the lives of both domestic and wild animals. In her free time, she loves reading, crafting, drawing, video gaming, off-roading, and, most importantly, cuddling her cats.
Irina
Client Care ReceptionistIrina grew up in Nashville, Tennessee, spent five years in Miami, Florida, and now happily calls Denver home.
Her love for animals started with a pony named Tinkerbell and has never slowed down. Since she was young, Irina has been involved in animal rescue and has worked with shelters in three different states, helping pets heal and find safe, happy homes.
Outside of work, she loves live music, live theater, and making the most out of life. In her free time, you’ll find her in the backcountry, skateboarding, flying, or wherever a pack of wayward animals needs a friend.
Katie
Client Care SupervisorKatie is proud to serve as a Client Care Representative and technician assistant here at 5280 Veterinary Care. Her areas of professional interest include zoology, conservation biology and veterinary technician work. She began working in the veterinary industry in 2019 and loves learning how to help animals who need it most. Outside of 5280, she is a dog handler / trainer. Katie was born and raised in Denver, CO and loves spending time with her Doberman Husky mix, Sasha, and tabby cat, Lancelot. She enjoys spending her free time with her family, hiking, and drawing. A fun fact about Katie is that she has been a singer for most of her life and even auditioned for the Disney channel.
Lidia
Veterinary AssistantBorn in Mexico and raised in Vail, Colorado, Lidia pursued her passion for animal care by attending Veterinary Medical school in Mexico. She recently moved to Denver and loves exploring Colorado’s nature, especially in the fall. Lidia joined 5280 Veterinary Care at the end of July 2024 and has quickly become a valued member of the team.
Outside of work, Lidia enjoys hiking, camping, concerts, exploring the city and is learning how to mountain bike. One of her favorite things is giving love and comfort to both her own pets, Tootsie, Lala, and Scout and 5280 patients.
Yessi
Veterinary AssistantYessi, a dedicated and dependable Vet Assistant, graduated from Pima Medical Institute in 2017 with a strong background in animal care. Her commitment to veterinary medicine was inspired by her childhood, where frequent trips to Mexico allowed her to witness the dedicated work of her godfather, a Doctor of Veterinary Medicine. This influence instilled a deep respect for animal health and professional care. She is eager to contribute her skills to maintaining high standards of care and efficiency within our team. In her free time, Yessi enjoys spending time with her family, especially her nieces and nephews. She is also a loving dog owner whose companion is always by her side. Yessi loves to travel, seeking out new places and experiences both close to home and abroad.
Stasia
Registered Veterinary TechnicianStasia is a Colorado native and has been in the vet field for the last 7 years. She has two dogs named Midnight and Hades. One of her favorite things to do is train with her dogs. Stasia joined 5280 in November of 2024 and has swiftly become a valued member of the team.
Vanessa
Registered Veterinary Technician/Assistant PMVanessa has been a part of 5280 Veterinary Care since it opened in 2018, but first started her passion in the animal industry about 10 years ago. What started as an internship in college led Vanessa to realize how much she enjoys helping pets and pet parents, so they are able to live their best and healthiest lives together. Vanessa was raised in northern California but has lived in multiple states across the U.S. before settling down in Denver. Vanessa shares her home with her fiancé and son, their two dogs, Sully and Ellie, two cats Simba and Koda, an axolotl named Mr. Peaches, and a freshwater angelfish aquarium. In her spare time, she enjoys playing disc golf, attending sporting events, gardening, and spending time outdoors in general.
Corinne
Veterinary AssistantCorinne moved from Wyoming to Colorado to pursue veterinary medicine in 2019 and attended Bel-Rae Institute of Animal Science, graduating in spring of 2022 and passing the VTNE in August of 2022. She has always had a passion for animals and giving them a voice, while enjoying connecting with and educating pet owners. Corinne has three pets at home, an American Staffordshire terrier named Lucy Lou, a Maincoon mix named Atti’TUDE’, and a Siamese mix named Bonsly. In her spare time, Corinne enjoys camping, fishing, attending live music events, watching ice hockey, trying new foods, and spending time with loved ones.
Liz, PVT
Veterinary TechnicianGrowing up, Liz was always surrounded by animals. Naturally, she grew a passion for our furry friends, especially cats (they were her family’s primary pet). When a door was opened for her to enter the Veterinary world as a receptionist back in 2018, she ran with the opportunity.
After achieving her goal of becoming Veterinary Technicians’ Assistant at her first clinic, she grew hungry for more knowledge and new challenges. She later left her primary care clinic and pursued the realms of a Specialty ER where she aided in Internal Medicine and ICU.
In the fall of 2021, Liz moved to Colorado for more job opportunities. She landed in a Cat Specialty Clinic and expressed she was a sponge during this time, taking in many tips and tricks for her feline friends. So much so that she has coined the title of “The cat whisperer” and her colleagues often request her assistance with higher maintenance kitties. Liz loves to share the skills she has picked up to help make her coworkers more comfortable handling some of our feisty feline patients. She feels she ended up with a great work family where we pass on skills and elevate each other to provide the best care we can for your furry friends. Wyatt
Technician SupervisorWyatt is originally from Osage City, Kansas. He has lived in Colorado for 7 years and began his career in veterinary medicine 4 years ago. Wyatt has a degree in biology, sociology, and environmental education. Wyatt has 3 pets at home: a dog named Ollie, and two cats, Otto and Mochi. In his spare time, Wyatt enjoys hiking, spending time outdoors, kayaking, and traveling as much as possible.
